Yes, water is made up by hydrogen and oxygen. However, the hydrogen is bonded to the water molecule. Hydrogen-enriched water refers to the introduction of free form hydrogen atoms that are dissolved into the water. The introduction of free form hydrogen is accomplished through Electrolysis, a process that splits H₂O molecules.
Hydrogen is tasteless and odorless gas. Hydrogen will have no affect on the taste of water.
Hydrogen gas is safe for all ages. Aside from molecular hydrogen being a natural product of the human body, research has yet to suggest any negative effects from the in-take of H₂. Our products are free of any additives, eliminating the potential of any negative effects.
There is little evidence to suggest best dosing practices, however, our recommendation is to consume hydrogen-enriched water with every glass.
For Daily Cleaning: To clean the tumbler, fill the bottle with clean water. Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds. The indicator light will turn purple and there will be a beep sound at which time the cleaning function will start. After cleaning for 3 minutes, the cleaning will be completed and the indicator light will go out. Discard the water. The water from the cleaning function has no hydrogen, but only produces oxygen for cleaning.
For Period Cleaning: About twice a month, use warm water to clean the electrolysis electrodes. Fill the Glass Bottle half full with warm water and let stand 1-2 hours. Shake several times and discard water and remove any debris.

It's recommended you charge the bottle every 8-10 uses. If the battery levels are low, you will notice red lights flickering when you press the power button. Charging should take no longer than 1 hour.
